MALAY DESSERTS


Kueh Dadar - rolled coconut crepes. The crepe is made with pandan to give flavor and the green color. Pandan is a plant with long leaves used in many sweet dishes here, like cakes, waffle, crepes and putu piring. The stuffing is grated coconut sweetened with palm sugar (gula melaka). S$1

Sweet tapioca with coconut milk and gula Melaka. S$1.80

Tapioca pearls (sagu) with green beans in coconut milk with gula melaka. Served hot. I bought this because the guy had just made it!!!! S$1.50
